Designed by David Collins Studio, Bassoon is a London destination bar with attitude. Combining a relaxed and intimate ambience with a stimulating dash of theatre, Bassoon pays homage to the arts of the finest bartenders in the capital. Bespoke cocktails, fine Champagnes, and boutique spirits are served in elegant replicas of Queen Victoria’s glassware along a seven metre bar that sweeps seamlessly into a Roland Piano. Most evenings plays host to the live music Signature Sessions, which have previously included performances from Lana Del Rey and the Scissor Sisters, and showcases the best music from breakthrough artists as well as established performers. With jazz-inspired art from William H Johnson and an Art Deco design signature, the spirit and rhythm of the 1920s music room makes for a luxurious and cosy drinking den.
